We work closely with specialist fibre glass lining contractors to coordinate the isolation and bypass of live assets, enabling relining while maintaining plant operations and avoiding the need for a plant shutdown.

Inspection & Condition Assessment

ATEX Class I Division 2 — Asset Preparation

DIR performs ATEX Class I Division 2 oily water sewer inspections, including the development and execution of asset isolation, permitting and receiver safing prior to inspection, coordinated with site operations and site requirements.

DIR performs inspections and condition assessments of industrial oily water sewer systems, including pump drains, piping, catch basins and manholes. We coordinate cleaning with site resources to prepare assets for inspection.

Services include documenting internal asset conditions, supporting risk profile assessments and presenting repair and remediation options for review by the client and Engineer of Record.

Inside-Drop & Drainage Remediation Support

DIR supports remediation of oily water sewer inside drops and drainage systems through contractor coordination, field supervision, inspection support and construction documentation. We work with the client and engineering team to support installation in accordance with the Engineering Work Package.

Underground Utility & Asset Coordination

Perform oily water sewer inspections and coordinate cleaning with site resources by agreed grid and work sequence. Coordinate supporting GPR surveys as required.
Coordinate locating, surveying, identification and tagging of catch basins, drains and manholes.
Align inspection access with maintenance and operations personnel.
Support work permits, field scheduling and safe work coordination.
Maintain progress reporting and support GIS asset data management.
Coordinate certified contractors throughout assessment and remediation activities.

Engineering design and professional engineering decisions remain with the Engineer of Record. DIR provides coordination, inspection information and field support.
